Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to my page.
I contribute to all sorts of topics, mostly on fr:wiki (check my userpage there). I started out with math and its history; now, as soon as I learn something new, I go to the article to dig deeper into the subject. If what I’ve learned isn’t in the article, I add it.
Wikipedia has given me so much, and I’m proud to have been contributing to it for the past few years. I think it’s (by far) the best way to share knowledge, and that it will still survive even after the death of Internet.
How to meet me
Together with some other really nice people, I’m organizing a WikiPermanence in Gif-sur-Yvette. I’m always happy to meet new people, so feel free to stop by (or just write on my talk page). See you soon, maybe!
My username
I try to fight entropy (understood as the loss of information), and I think the Wikimedia projects are excellent places to do that. I’ll elaborate on this one of these days; in the meantime, you can read (if you know french): Stiegler, Bernard (2017). La toile que nous voulons: le web néguentropique. Collection du nouveau monde industriel. FYP éditions IRI. ISBN 978-2-36405-147-8.
